From the 9th to the 14th of February 2009, Bata Industrials will be one of the approximately 1000 exhibitors participating in the “Internationale BouwBeurs” (international construction industry exhibition) at the Jaarbeurs exhibition centre in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Held every two years, this trade event primarily targets sole proprietorships and freelancers, and buyers for larger construction companies. The construction sector is experiencing constant developments. For this reason, it is important to find a healthy balance between a healthy living environment and sustainable development. The exhibition theme for this year’s event, ‘Building in balance’, is a response to the trend and need to find a truly good balance between these two factors. Building in balance with the environment, finding the right energy balance and creating an equilibrium between the various parties active in the construction column are therefore topics which fit perfectly within this theme. The “Internationale BouwBeurs 2009” will attempt to provide answers to the various issues that are part of balance-conscious building, such as sustainability, safety at the site, and the consumer's needs and wishes. Special areas of interest on which Bata Industrials has traditionally focused. Bata’s safety footwear has made a contribution to a low rate of absence due to illness (resulting from accidents), and a safe, healthy and comfortable product considerably increases the degree of safety at the construction site. Additionally, Bata Industrials puts a specific emphasis on the needs and perceptions of the wearers of its product during the development of safety footwear and related products. Varied presentation Together with its distributor Safety Centre International, Bata Industrials will spotlight these spearheads for visitors via a varied product presentation. Among other products, the new Traxx models 104, 105 and 106 will be on display at Stand E010 (Hall 10). Three new stars in the collection, bringing the total number of models with waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX laminate to eight. In addition, with the new Traxx models 212, 213 and 214, Bata Industrials will be presenting the new models with the revolutionary Boa lacing system. Extensive space has also been reserved for the Mammoet range of safety shoes and boots, which Bata Industrials represents as the sales organisation. And finally, in addition to the other models from the Traxx collection, The Natural, BS2000, Bison and the new Wallstreet collections will also be on display. Naturally, during the entire exhibition the complete presentation will be complemented by the usual dose of action at Bata Industrials’ 132 m² stand.
