News > Bata Industrials expands activities in Central and Eastern Europe

Bata Industrials is making serious inroads in the sale of its safety shoes in Central and Eastern Europe. The new partnerships created with distributors in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia are evidence of this, as is Bata’s presence at exhibitions. The first of these is the SAWO exhibition in Poznan (Poland) from the 22nd to 25th of April.

Personal protection equipment on the work floor is becoming an increasingly more important issue all across Europe. The availability of certified safety shoes is however lagging behind in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Bata is now launching the CE-norm certified safety shoes equipped with a steel toecap, and where necessary, steel mid-sole, guaranteeing maximum protection on the work floor.

Together with its Polish distributor Korczak, Bata Industrials will introduce a selection from its range suitable for this market at the SAWO exhibition in Poznan. The main theme of the exhibition is ‘safety at work’, and in addition to this focus, the exhibition will also present new technology in the rescue and fire equipment segment. Zeroing in on this theme, Bata will be releasing the FireMaster fire brigade boot. In short, a wide variety for visitors to see at the 20m2 stand, number 60, hall 3.

After the SAWO exhibition, Bata Industrials will participate in yet another exhibition; from the 13th through the 16th of May, Bata will return to its ‘roots’, exhibiting at the Interprotec show in Brno in Bata’s country of origin, the Czech Republic.
