From Wednesday the 8th through Friday the 10th of October 2008, Bata Industrials will be present at the Arbeitsschutz aktuell event in the German city of Hamburg. Held in a different location in Germany every two years, this is the event for seeing the latest innovations in the safety and health at work industry.

Bata Industrials will be present at stand number A1.407 at the Hamburg Exhibition Centre, presenting four sector-specific and solution-oriented safety-shoe concepts to visitors within the ‘Personal Protection Equipment’ category.

ESD
First, Bata Industrials will be shining the spotlights on its large range of ESD shoes, the ingenious means of protection from electrostatic discharge. Various ESD models distributed among different collections will be on display, such as The Natural available in four widths, the sporty BS2000 (including the Helsinki sandal and Luna ladies model), and the business-like Wallstreet.

Bata-adapt
Bata-adapt, ‘the safety shoe that adapts to the foot’, is the second part of the presentation. Designed specially for the German market, this shoe concept features four levels, all of which may be admired at the stand. The emphasis will be placed on level 4, developed for wearers (including diabetics) with very serious foot problems. Within this framework, Bata Industrials will be displaying two models from the standard The Natural series as orthopaedic shoe.

Traxx featuring Boa
At the exhibition, Bata Industrials will also dedicate considerable attention to the Traxx safety shoes with the unique and patented Boa lacing system. Under the motto ‘The right click’, this system puts an end, once and for all, to the traditional shoelace. Additionally, it offers wearers a perfect fit, excellent circulation and an even pressure distribution. Fantastic benefits that ensure that the wearer literally gains a ‘firm footing’ throughout the entire working day.

Wallstreet
Last but not least, Bata Industrials will be displaying the six new models from the Wallstreet collection. Available in different designs and satisfying various safety norms, this collection has been specially designed for managers who, in addition to their offices, also spend time on the work floor and would like to look professional in both locales. This collection is available both with and without steel toecap.
