The Bata Industrials Road Show 2006 which started in early May was a success. During this sport-tinged spectacle, the theme of which was the World Cup of football, the Dutch Bata customers were given the opportunity to get to know the new “players” at Bata Industrials, new models of safety shoes which have what it takes to deliver absolute top performances. In the seven-week tour throughout the Netherlands, a total of approximately 70 distributors were visited, Bata Industrials’ so-called preferred suppliers. These companies had in turn invited their own customers, which meant that a large number of customers were ultimately reached. During the Road Show, the new models of safety shoes were introduced. First of all, there was the new and improved “The Natural,” the multifunctional shoe with the perfect fit, suitable for every foot and work environment. A smash hit with exceptional characteristics and loads of built-in technology! Such as the improved outsole profile, the asymmetrical last which is set deeper and inlay soles which absorb moisture even better. And of course all the good qualities of the previous collection have remained intact, including the four width system for the perfect fit, the shock-absorbing Tunnelsystem and the energy-saving Easy Rolling System. During the tour, spectators were also easily convinced of all of the qualities these new models of BS2000 and Traxx have to offer. Trendy, contemporary all-rounders with a sporty appearance, which may be used for a very wide variety of circumstances. Finally, customers were also able to score during the Road Show and many great prizes were won, including the supporters shoe, an orange safety shoe specially designed with the theme of the World Cup in mind.
