| | News > Bata Industrials: sales organisation for new Mammoet Workwear collection |
|
Quality, comfort, safety and functionality - these are the four core features of the new work shoes and work apparel that Mammoet introduced on 20 November 2007. The Mammoet Workwear range comprises eight models of safety shoes and two types of boots with a tough and very contemporary design, supplemented by a practical collection of outer wear and undergarments. Mammoet Workwear is available via selected distributors in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.
The working conditions help determine which Mammoet Workwear shoe or boot is the best choice: extreme wet work environment and climate, varying dry and wet conditions, or a hot and dry work environment. These conditions were the starting point in the development of the footwear. Since work and climate can vary dramatically, both in The Netherlands and abroad, a collection of ten different models was created. In developing its products, Mammoet applied knowledge from Bata Industrials, a trendsetter in the field of functional footwear. Bata Industrials also acts as a sales organisation for Mammoet Workwear.

Safety and health To a large extent, dry, warm feet determine the comfort of the shoes and are an important factor in employees’ health. The Mammoet shoes and boots are manufactured using breathable materials and are waterproof in accordance with the strictest requirements. There are also models which have been developed to provide this waterproof guarantee, even in extremely wet conditions.
Work apparel Mammoet knows better than anyone what type of protection people need to be able to work under the roughest of conditions. The traditional Dutch company has been working on demanding and challenging hoisting and transport projects worldwide for 40 years. Mammoet has applied this same knowledge to the development of its standardised work apparel. The collection comprises two types of work trousers with matching jackets and a set of undergarments.
Points of sale Mammoet Workwear is available via selected distributors in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg, and may be viewed on www.mammoetworkwear.com. At these carefully chosen points of sale, customers can count on expert advice.
