The SAWO exhibition was held in Poland from the 22nd to 25th of April. The main theme of the exhibition was ‘safety at work’, and at the show, nearly 28,000 visitors were afforded a peek into the world of personal protection. For Bata Industrials, this was the opportunity to introduce its products to the Polish market.

Bata Industrials presented a broad range of certified safety shoes equipped with a steel toecap and steel mid-sole, products that were either scarcely available or not available at all in the Polish market. Collections such as The Natural, BS2000, WorkMates, SportMates and Spirit were displayed with an appropriate sense of pride for the many visitors to the stand.

Spirit: a genuine Bata for everyone
The latter collection Spirit in particular was very well-received due to its excellent value-for-money aspect. The recently renewed collection is available in various models (S1P and S3), making the safety shoes suitable for light as well as heavy work applications. The collection also features two different types of soles. A PU/TPU-sole, with its antislip qualities in every direction, ensuring grip even during unexpected movements on the work floor. And the PU/rubber-sole found only in the Spirit model Shield. The rubber used for this sole ensures an extra-high slip resistance, and is also extra durable and oil-, acid- and cut-resistant, and even heat-resistant to temperatures up to 300°C.

Bata’s claim to fame
Very few visitors had ever heard of the Bata safety shoes. In spite of this, the stand attracted a great deal of attention merely due to the name, ‘Bata’. Bata Industrials is actually a specialised division of the worldwide Bata group (Bata Shoe Organisation), which has some 60 retail shops specialising in fashion shoes in Poland. After the introduction of Bata Industrials in Poland, in addition to wearing Batas in one’s leisure time, it is now also possible to enjoy the maximum level of protection at work with Bata safety shoes.
