Bata Industrials has been active on the Polish market since last year. As a result of the rising demand for Bata safety shoes, Bata will be investing more in this growth market. This includes the hiring of a Sales Manager, participation in exhibitions in the safety-at-work industry, and the development of new models.

In a partnership with the Polish dealer Korczak, Bata supplies companies active in the automobile, chemicals, heavy industry, construction and logistics segments. Bata has developed two models for the two largest sectors. With a sturdy welding shoe and an S1 model with polyurethane sole, Bata offers the solution for applications within the heavy industry and automobile sectors, respectively.

Work Safety in Industry
At the Work Safety in Industry show held from the 16th to the 19th of June in the ultimate exhibition city, Poznan in Poland, Bata took advantage of every opportunity to turn the spotlights on the two new models. In addition, the Spirit, WorkMates, and SportMates collections, and of course the sock range were displayed at the Bata stand. Bata’s view on safety at work was met with very positive responses.

Later this year, Bata will also be exhibiting at the BHP exhibition in Katowice from 27 to 29 October 2009. Further information will become available on this website as the exhibition date approaches.
