If the recently held A+A 2009 proved one thing, it is that in spite of the current economic recession, companies are continuing to invest in the safety and health of their employees. This is a given that was further emphasised during the international trade exhibition by the record number of visitors to the event: 55,800.

The need for safety on the work floor has become a general theme worldwide. However, safety not only means protection, but also comfort and fit wearers. These aspects were the object of major focus during Bata Industrials’ presentation at the exhibition held from 3 to 6 November at the Messe in Düsseldorf.

Bata Energy System
Exhibiting at stand 3B90, Bata Industrials presented the ‘Bata Energy System’, the next step in improving safety and health on the work floor. The ‘Bata Energy System’ comprises a complete range of safety shoes (including the new full-grain leather models featuring the Boa lacing system), functional socks and comfortable inlay soles. A triad that ensures a perfect fit, ideal climate management, optimum foot support, and protective shock absorption. In addition, the products are all geared to one another, enabling them to support and reinforce one another’s special features. The wearer will experience a higher level of comfort and have more energy, even after a long day at work.

Walkline
Walkline is another new development which also reinforces the ‘Bata Energy System’. This new range was also spotlighted by Bata Industrials in Düsseldorf. Based on shoe design in line with ergonomic guidelines, this innovation ensures an ideal natural action of the foot and an optimum distribution of pressure under the foot. The result? Feet that are less tired and a wearer with more energy.

Bata-adapt goes Benelux
A third novelty concerns Bata-adapt. After its successful introduction in Germany, this revolutionary concept will now also be launched in the Benelux. This launch means that Bata-adapt can now offer a perfect solution, always geared towards every foot, to even more wearers, regardless of their work environment, working conditions or the wearer’s physical condition.

Expertise across the board
The high number of interested visitors that honoured Bata Industrials with their presence at the stand was treated to a closer look of the complete range of Bata safety shoes, socks and inlay soles. Displayed in an orderly and organised manner per user group, Bata Industrials’ extensive expertise in the safety shoe and related products segment was stylishly presented.
