| | News > New Nevada sock: now even stronger and more longwearing |
Bata Industrials presents the latest Nevada, the popular industrial sock. Made from even stronger yarns and with added toe and heel protection, the revamped Nevada is now even more longwearing, whilst retaining all aspects of comfort which are the hallmark of this sock.
The introduction of the new Nevada sock - available in sizes 35-38, 39-42, 43-46 and 47-50, and colour combinations black-grey and brown-beige - marks the following step in Bata Industrials integrated shoe and sock concept. Within this concept, the snazzy Nevada is one of the most popular socks amongst industrial users. This popularity can be put down first and foremost to the ingenious mix of several specific product features. The knitted-in ventilation channels, for example, give better anti-static and anti-fungal protection due to improved air-circulation, whilst the terry-cloth sole provides extra protection and comfort. Furthermore, the special clover-leaf Pro-Guards fibre helps optimise the release of transpiration and the anti-bacterial Amicor fibre keeps the foot free of bad odours. So, in whatever situation you find yourself, your feet stay dry and cool.
Sustained comfort The secret of the new Nevada lies primarily in the ongoing improvements to the Amicor fibre. The increased number of revolutions during the spinning process gives the yarn a harder and stronger quality. What’s more, all new Nevadas incorporate additional polyamide protection on the most susceptible parts of the sock, that is, the toe and the heel. Both innovations ensure sustained comfort on the part of the wearer from this high quality sock, made from 30% Pro-Guards, 30% cotton, 20% polyamide, 15% Amicor and 5% Lycra. |
