A genuine Bata for everyone. This is the best way to describe the Spirit collection from Bata Industrials. Based on safety, health and comfort and available at a price that is proportional in every way to the added value offered, this collection has recently undergone a change in the form of a new sole. The collection has also been further expanded with the addition of the ‘Shield’ model.

Comprising 10 models in total, the Spirit collection is available in the standard sizes 39 - 48, and incorporates an optimal combination of safety, health and comfort. All of the models are equipped with a steel mid-sole which protects the foot from the penetration of sharp objects. In addition, the Tunnelsystem ensures that the pressure is spread over a larger surface area as the heel hits the ground. This not only spares the wearer’s joints, it also prevents fatigue, loss of concentration and therefore many accidents on the work floor. Thanks to its sporty look, perfect design, and exceptional wearing comfort, the Spirit is a noticeable presence, and one worn with pleasure on the work floor. A shoe that keeps its wearer fit, increases the pleasure one gets out of one’s work, and reduces the rate of absence due to illness. And as if that was not enough, the various models (S1 P and S3) available in the collection also include four ladies models (available starting from size 36).This means that female employees can now also depend on a work shoe that offers perfect comfort and protection, for light as well as heavy applications.



Renewed outsole
The entire existing Spirit collection has recently been renewed with a new outsole. Whereas these formerly consisted of polyurethane (PU) with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) inserts, the renewed sole is made entirely from TPU. As a result, the shoe now offers perfect antislip qualities in every direction, as well as optimum protection from oil and heat (up to 110°C). In addition, the self-cleaning sole is even more wear-resistant, and the sturdier cleats ensure excellent grip even during unexpected movements on the work floor. The light and flexible PU mid-sole also provides added benefits, such as extra shock absorption, energy savings and added wearing comfort.



Shielding from glass
With the new model Shield, Bata Industrials can now also offer optimum protection to those working in the glass industry. The shaft of the shoe even complies with the EN standards for puncture resistance (EN 388:2003) and cut resistance (EN ISO 20345). Unlike the other models in the Spirit collection, the Shield is equipped with a durable rubber outsole. A feature that fully comes into play in environments which require a shoe with extra-high slip resistance, and added protection from oil, acids and cutting hazards. The sole also provides a durable shield that insulates from cold and is also even resistant to temperatures up to 300°C. As with the other Spirit models, the light and flexible PU mid-sole provides added shock resistance, energy savings and added wearing comfort.
