This research concentrates primarily on the natural action of the foot regarding stability and on various types of sole and materials in combination with a number of different industrial floor types. The product of this has been two new soles that guarantee optimum slip resistance on every work floor and avoid foot sprains. The wearer can also count on increased comfort.

The new Natural has been developed as a natural extension of the body and incorporates all of the clever techniques that are so characteristic of the extensive Bata Industrials safety footwear range. This has produced a lightweight shoe that is suitable for every foot and working environment thanks to its perfect fit. In addition, the completely new upper developed in collaboration with a fashion designer also responds to the desire of the professional to look stylish and presentable on the work floor.

Renewed sole profile
Bata Industrials has improved the profile of soles in relation to the preceding collection. Where previously the emphasis was on the forward foot action, the new collection also anticipates the exertion of foot pressure sideways and outward. This has resulted in a redesigned sole profile. The new Natural collection comprises models with a Dual density PU-sole and models with a TriTech -sole. Each sole has a different profile that is adapted to the qualities of the sole materials used in order to create optimum stability and slip resistance. This enables Bata Industrials to offer a tailored solution for every working condition and, once again, to contribute to the reduction of slip, fall and tripping incidents on the work floor, the leading causes of long-term sickness absence. In the same context, the renewed asymmetric last, the result of intensive bio-mechanical research, has been positioned deeper in the sole than previously.
In order to increase stability and comfort, the heel is fitted with a shock absorbing element and the moisture absorbent effect of the full inlay sole has been further enhanced.
