Sound work and safety shoes are increasingly considered a valuable and elementary component of professional clothing in both industry and the business community. It is also a segment which offers businesses potential for high profits when it comes to the reduction in absences due to illness and accidents on the work floor. The truth behind this fact emerged once more during the A+A 2007, held from the 18th to the 21st of September at the Messe exhibition hall in Düsseldorf. As a worldwide manufacturer of high-quality safety shoes, Bata Industrials was naturally also present at this prominent event. A brief look back at a successful exhibition, where Bata Industrials literally put a worldly foot forward, demonstrating the ultimate balance between safety and comfort.

         

Bata Industrials’ 380 m² stand was an outright eyecatcher during this event attended by over 55,000 visitors. For the many interested parties, there was plenty to experience. With collections from Australia, South Africa and Chili, Bata Industrials emphasised its worldwide activities and its prominent presence on various continents.

In addition, the official presentation of the new Bata-adapt attracted visitors’ undivided attention. This new, revolutionary concept from Bata Industrials, specially developed for the German market, is characterised by the shoe’s unique feature; it adapts itself perfectly to its wearer’s foot, and not the other way around.

         

The spotlights were also aimed at the complete range of safety and comfort solutions that Bata Industrials has to offer, including the extensive range of inlay soles and industrial socks. A central location was cleared to make room for the application-oriented presentation of the Traxx, The Natural, and BS2000 collections. Three separate walls were used to guide users active in the construction, industrial and logistics sectors down the right path to the proper safety shoe.

Introduced by Bata Industrials and destined for wear during work under extreme conditions, the Mammoet Workwear shoe collection was also (and entirely in line with the Mammoet corporate style) presented in a striking manner.

Last but not least, during the A+A 2007, Bata Industrials launched the shoe of the future: this concept consists of six modules (sock, inlay sole, insulation/comfort layer (Isotech), reinforced layer (Bioplate), mid-sole and outsole) which, thanks to the unique combination possibilities, offers every wearer in any kind of workplace the ultimate safety shoe.

         

Dance and dynamics
Bata Industrials' presentation of the ultimate balance between safety and comfort during A+A 2007 was made even more pleasant and was finished off with refreshing beverages and a variety of delicious Italian snacks. Additionally, a spectacular dance group, armed with waste bins, chairs and Bata Industrials' comfortable safety shoes clearly emphasised the contemporary and dynamic quality of the producer that thinks beyond safety alone.
