The high-quality products from Bata Industrials maintain their qualities if you follow s few simple guidelines.
  1. The correct fit is important for your own comfort and safety. This is why expert advisors accurately measure your shoe size.
  2. Bata Industrials shores are developed for specific conditions. Only use your shoes in the conditions for which they are intended.
  3. Expose your shoes as little as possible to damp conditions. This can limit the life span. Let your damp shoes dry slowly. Do not place them next to a direct heat source, but remove the insole (if possible) and fill the shoe with old newspaper.
  4. Regularly change shoes, so when you are finished with work, put your everyday shoes back on. In this way, the work shoes have longer to allow transpiration to evaporate.
  5. Regularly maintain your shoes. Remove dirt with a damp cloth or (dry or moist) brush. Treat the leather regularly with a maintenance product intended for leather. By excessive transpiration, it is better to replace the insoles.
  6. Wear good socks. Socks and shoes form a single unit that takes care of optimal moisture transfer, and dry, comfortable feet. Bata Industrials have socks for various conditions.
  7. Look after your feet. Safety shoes are often warmer than ‘normal’ shoes. The steel toecap does not ventilate, and the leather of the upper is thicker than for everyday shoes. Wash your feet regularly after work, and dry them thoroughly, particularly between the toes. Wear clean socks every day. The use pf talcum powder and daily swapping insoles helps keep your feet extra dry.
